Texas Back Institute. For over 30 years, the Texas Back Institute has made it a priority
to perform as a center of excellence utilizing the latest in technological advances and breakthroughs
with the ultimate goal of helping our patients get back to life. No one else specializes
in spine the way we do, by focusing on all aspects of neck and back pain and offering
our specialty services through the Center for Disc Replacement and the Scoliosis and
Spine Tumor Center. When you walk into our facility and head toward our reception area
you will be greeted by a friendly face and welcoming atmosphere. Our goal is to make
your experience at the Texas Back Institute as pleasant as possible from the time you
enter to the time you exit. Our lobby area is filled with specially designed ergonomic
chairs that support patients with back and neck conditions, just one of the many considerations
we take to ensure your comfort. Our dedicated staff is here to help you on your journey
toward relief from back and neck pain. Our friendly patient service representatives are committed
to making sure that you are matched with a physician who can address your specific needs.
Upon arrival for your appointment you’ll be asked to complete the registration process
and then you’ll be escorted back to meet your physician. A Texas Back Institute medical
assistant will review medical history and introduce you to your physician who will then
conduct your examination and review your imaging and diagnostic reports. At this time, your
doctor may order additional diagnostic testing to be completed the same day or in the near
future. Once all necessary testing has been completed and all information is gathered
your physician will go over your test results with you and provide a diagnosis and treatment
plan to meet your specific needs. Our advanced diagnostic testing allows our physicians to
better identify potential causes of back and neck pain. The tools we utilize include: X-Ray,
MRI, CT, Myelography, Discography, Nerve Conduction Study (NCS), Electromyography (EMG), and Bone
Density Assessment. Texas Back Institute is recognized as a world leader in providing
a full range of services to treat back and neck pain. Most require no surgery or only
minimally invasive procedures. Our spine surgeons specialize in many surgical treatment options,
