Low Back Pain Relief Exercise. Knee to Chest | Upland Claremont Cucamonga Chiropractor

– Hey this is Dr. Tony
here with a quick stretch. Helps fix your lower back, especially right here at the belt line, ’cause a lot of your muscles of your lower back, they attach right there. That’s a weak part of
your back called a tendon. Some of those get really tight and make even the glutes
and piriformis sore too. I wanna walk through a stretch tour, because your body is like this
a lot, become weak and tight. I’m gonna have Destiny, one of our interns now part-time employee co-act the video. So you see the video in the corner here? Courtney is here lying down on her back. When she’s on there you wanna lie there with your legs straight. Once you’ve layed there
bring your left leg up first. Hold that leg to your overall chest. You can hold it further
out if you need to. She holds it there
because her flexibility. Okay she’s right there, once she does that at that point she
brings her leg inside first. Hold that for about three
seconds, one two three. At that point she’ll bring her leg back to center then back to the outside as you can see holding her
left hand all the way out. On that area for about
three seconds again. Then she’ll bring her
leg down, switch sides. She switches sides, realize we always wanna do both sides ’cause you have one set can be tighter or weaker. She brings her right leg
up, at that point again bring it up toward her body,
hold about three seconds. Get that lower area to stretch. Then from there bringing
it over to her left side. So inside her body for one tick of the outside hip to stretch. Three seconds, then outside
again holding her right hand. ‘Cause right side right leg, that point for three seconds that
inside hip loosened up too. Bring that down, realize
all these stretches allow you to do is get your body to loosen up first and then strengthen. If I strengthen my body being here, tight here can cause
the injury and soreness. That’s when people will see me. I want them to stretch
first and always end it with the ice pack, at
that point you stay loose and relaxed and then
get strong, all right? Produced video from Euclid Clinic Upland. We’re chiropractors in
