Great video, this guy really seems to care about people and I wish him the best. I have visual snow and it gets really bad at night. It's much more tolerable on bright sunny days. My tinnitus started around the same time. He is right, I've been doing some research and the sternocleidomastoid muscle comes up a lot.

Thank you very much for this video, I am French and we do not speak much about this subject in French, if ever you could add the French translation it would be great! I managed to understand a good part of the video and thanks again for these tips 🙂

i’m 13 i just turned 13 like a week ago. like 4 days ago i went to the eye doctors cuz i kept seeing the specks and
i was so scared i was crying cuz i’ve only seen floaters and had ocular migraines. so i went to the eye doctor and they just said there migraines but it’s weird cuz
my symptoms don’t go away. so he said its just normal. something didn’t sound right so i looked it up found a thing called visual snow and i was like omg this is what i have. i read a whole bunch on it and found this and it helps so much because i’m always on my phone and have terrible posture. so i’m going to sit up straight in school and stay off my phone as much as possible and do the stretches all the time and i really hope this helps because i don’t want it to get worse. but it really goes away when i run and cheer. i got into a cheer accident and hit my head very head and it caused my ocular migraines and it lead to this just like a week ago. i really hope this works thank you so much. i’m so happy i’m not alone but i am alone
in my circle of friends but it’s ok. 😌

Thank you for this video. I hope these exercises help with my visual snow – as a child I learnt my vision was different (about 17 years ago) and had been sent to a hospital to have my eyes checked out. Because they couldn't see anything I must have been making it up and on I went. A few years ago I finally found out there is a name for this and that I am not alone. Fortunately it has never gotten worse but it hasn't got better either. I can deal with it most days, things like being able to see detail in a 4k picture etc is fine, however things like seeing if its raining outside is way more difficult that it should be (unless its raining hard). In fact, its that last point that's caused me to search it today.

Thank you for your words man, I hope your journey is still going well!

Thankyou soo much. In 2010 I was at school and got tunnel vision with an aura and when it subsided, I've had visual snow and chronic migraine since then. I was on a med that made the migraines go away for years. I stopped taking it for a few months. I felt fine until I got a knot in my shoulder. The migraines came back and the visual snow worsened. I AM BACK ON IT NOW but waiting to feel better. I will try these stretches bc I sit at a computer all day and on my phone all day with horrible posture. Thankyou

Just saying guys, all people actually see dots behind closed eyes. It’s more like a light level of visual noise and it’s normal.

Was the stretch more for the migraines or the visual snow does anybody know? Just as I get visual snow but not migraines.

Hi, so Im experiencing VS and migraines since like 15 years (I'm 30 now). I'm a programmer and i spend a lot of time in a really bad position for my spine. Now, all you're saying makes sense and it brings me hope that some day i may see clear again. I'm gonna start keeping good posture and start stretching my neck from now on. Thank You for sharing your experience with other people. Wish you the best!

Doing these exercises made me faint for some reason. I lost consciousness for like a split second, I think. Everything went dark and I felt like I was going to sleep. I knocked my chair down and stuff, it was awful and really scary.

What’s weird was that when I first had it… I went through a drastic vision change to where I thought I was going blind then I didn’t always notice it. Then about a month ago I had another vision change and within the past week the snow appeared more.

I'll try it 🙂 Do this also helps for tinnitus? Cause i have it with visual snow for many years. Bad combo :/ I think it could be bad posture and oxygen deficiency, but not only. Nervous system overload is also the main reason. That's why VS and tinnitus goes with anxiety, panic attacks, depression, derealization, depersonalization and similar ones. But i'm still not sure which is first. Nervous system overload cause VS/Tinnitus or VS/Tinnitus cause nervous system overload and all this problems? Hmmm…

I have had visual snow for 10 years , 10 yeras of being humiliated and accused for making all these up and in some cases doctors even made fun of me just because they were so selfish and ignorant to consider something like this can actually exist. So i stopped seeing doctors and lived with it and its only a few months that I know it actually has a name and there are people out there experiencing the same thing so half of the burden is off my shoulders knowing that im not the only one in the whole world. I m not sure if the exercises has helped my case but i truly appreciate your outlook and positivity cause thats what people with VS need . Only we sufferers. know what it takes to be coping with this condition and go on with life. My question: does anyone know whats the facebook group where people actually share experiences and talk?

I had VS when i was 31 but i only had it 3 mornings in a row when i woke up and it faded once i turned the light on after about 20 minutes. I'm 32 now and have never had it since. The fact that it came and went must mean that it isn't something that definitely stays with everyone. I have no idea why it happened but it was definitely VS. I can't imagine how annoying and upsetting it must be to have it all the time.

I first got visual snow from a violent sneeze around 5 years ago. I was bending over while picking up my cat and violently sneezed jerking my head forward. I went blind for about 15 seconds, recovered my vision and had a insane migraine right after. Since then I've had visual snow (Static) in vision. I've never heard about this stretching, will give it a shot.

5 minutes in, feels really weird; will keep up with the exercises and will come back to this. Thank you bud <3

I got very slight visual snow as a result of lsd induced HPPD. I am not taking clonazepam 2mg a day, starting today. Supposedly after 2-3 months of that without using drugs can remove it completely. Wish me luck!

This is the best thing I have heard in a while. I've had visual snow since I can remember (12 is), but lately at university it has developed into something much worse. I have so much after image and visual snow,t hat a plain white wall in a poorly lit room, looks like an insane jumble of lights and fuzz.

I also love what you said about detail, noticing the zipper. This is so true, I think because human's operating sense is vision, your life really degrades when it is impaired. I have noticed it really affects my mood, so I'll be giving these excises a try, I might report back.

You are 100% correct about posture. I went to see an osteopath, within 2 minutes he asked if I suffer with migraines. Which i told him I was told it was persistent migraine aura ( all the same symptoms as vs) apparently . Anyway he said my neck muscles are so tight messed up its causing spasms in my neck which in turn effects the optical nerves and puts pressure on them effecting the blood flow to the eyes. Look up dr mandelas video on occipital lobe stretches. I done it. Within an hour I noticed difference. Like my eyes didnt seem like they were sticking on objects, the after images started getting weaker and not as in my face. I have forward head posture, which is effecting it. With the degree my head is forward and shoulders causing upper cross syndrome theres about 29lbs of pressure on my neck. I think this is the cause 100% I bet alot of people have really bad posture looking at this video or some form of spine problems.. I know some people are born with it. In which I believe could be caused by some form of neurological issue. But I think that if you suddenly just developed it then check out your posture !

Hello. If you've been suffering from increasing blue field entoptic phenomena (like sperm cells moving in your vision when looking at monochromatic surfaces or sky), please fill out this survey. It's even more rare than VS, but it is also very unbearable.

I’ve recently noticed it more because doctors keep mentioning it and my parents keep blaming it on my lack of sleep and phone use. I was completely fine with it before. I’ve had an MRI and a lumbar puncture and I feel like these exams on my brain and body are getting nowhere. I hope this works!!!
