Hey guys, this is Dr. Gian from North Shore Chiropractic here. I was about to have a quick chat with you regarding headaches and chiropractic, with your spine and how they may relate. We do see a lot of people come to us with headaches that get great benefit with looking after the spine. I should point it out though that chiropractic isn’t a specific treatment for headaches. It’s a natural effect. We’re looking at the spine and the pressure that exerts on the nerve system. However, things that you could be looking for in your own posture that may relate to your spine being part of the challenge, is forward head posture. So we may see the ear move forward of the mid-shoulder point. Some of that forward head posture position which is, you know, very common these days. When you look at your posture in the mirror just look at your shoulders and if one side is higher than the other that’s likely that that’s system is maybe out of balance. We could also see that when you look at your eyes or your ears there could be a head tilt going on or your ears are at different heights and functionally there maybe areas where you are limited. You can’t move as far one side to the other— that’s another sign of things being out of balance. And then symptomatically, if you got neck pain and headaches that’s a potential or a strong relationship and specially when people have that tenderness in these upper trapezius muscles through here. So if you’ve got those signs as postural changes, limited motion, joint noise… then maybe there’s some link to your spine and your headaches and you should get that checked. So hopefully this information is gonna be of some benefit and if you click on the next video it will tell you what’s sort of oppotunity that we have available today for you. Get that spine checked and see how it might relate to that headaches that you’re struggling with right now. So have a great day and see you later.
